The Bowling Section of Ardgowan Club held its annual prize-giving on 22nd October 2011 in the Clubhouse. Winners and finalists are shown as listed in the various categories.
The Gents Championship Final was, for the first time in the Club’s 170 years, contested by father and son, namely H. Campbell Barr and J. Douglas Barr. This is the sixth time that Douglas has won the Championship which is in itself a record. Congratulations to both.
After the presentation of the prizes by Club President Jim Engebretsen and Lady Captain Eileen Straine, those attending enjoyed an evening with a cheese & wine buffet and dance.
